This station was installed in the framework of the FWF project P 13567 in October 1999 beside the glacier Rajupakinan in Cordelliera Blanca in Peru at an altitude of 4800 m a.s.l. to investigate the glacier climate interaction. The station operated until October 2000 and has to be removed due to problems with the local people.
